AOA Somalia is not a regulator, licensing body, airport operator, security agency or enforcement institution. Its role is coordination, consultation, stakeholder engagement, awareness, training and lawful advocacy within the aviation sector.

Air Operator Certificates

AOA Somalia does not issue, approve, amend, suspend, revoke or administer Air Operator Certificates, and it does not replace the Somali Civil Aviation Authority or any other competent public authority.

Non-Regulatory Statement

AOA Somalia is an aviation industry association, not a regulatory authority. The Association does not issue licenses, permits, safety approvals, air operator certificates, route permissions, aviation security clearances, airworthiness approvals, personnel licenses, or enforcement decisions. AOA Somalia respects the mandate of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority, SCAA, and all competent government authorities. The Association's role is to represent industry views, support consultation, promote coordination, and contribute to the development of a safe, efficient, and sustainable aviation sector in Somalia.
