About

About AOA Somalia

The Airline Operators Association of Somalia, AOA Somalia, is a national aviation industry association created to support the common interests of airline operators and aviation related stakeholders operating in Somalia. AOA Somalia provides a professional and neutral platform where members of the aviation industry can discuss shared challenges, coordinate on operational matters, engage with relevant institutions, and contribute to the development of Somalia's aviation sector. The Association represents the collective voice of airline operators and aviation stakeholders while respecting the independent commercial activities of its members and the authority of national aviation regulators. AOA Somalia is not a regulator. It does not issue licenses, permits, air operator certificates, safety approvals, route authorizations, or enforcement decisions. Those responsibilities remain with the Somali Civil Aviation Authority, SCAA, and other competent government authorities. AOA Somalia's role is to support constructive dialogue, responsible industry advocacy, coordination, public communication, and aviation sector development.
